16 X 16 oil on linen. I consider myself fortunate to have a myriad of artists with whom to paint, talk art, critique, etc. At a recent gathering with fellow plein air painters,. My art career started when I got noticed as a certain kind of genre painter. I mostly painted scenes of quaint French villages, the Tuscan hillside, elegant cafes, and bustling restaurant interiors.
